                       "Washington's War Against Iraq"

        While the UN brokered agreement with Iraq may have forestalled US
military strikes against Iraq for the moment, the threat of unilateral
military action by the United States still looms with the ongoing and
accelerating US military presence in the Persian Gulf. At the same time,
the harsh sanctions which have killed over one and a half million people
since 1991, continue to take their toll.
        Gulf War veteran ERIK GUSTAFSON traveled to Iraq in May 1997 in
defiance of the government he once served. He was part of a delegation
delivering $15,000 in donated medical supplies to the people of Iraq in
open defiance of the sanctions which are a weapon that continues to kill-to
date over half a million children have died and 5,800 children continue to
die each month.
        Gustafason speaks from this first-hand experience and is
accompanied by an extensive slide show on his trip to Iraq.
