This is important for two reasons. Morally, it's just the right thing to do. A true patriot loves his country without hating anyone else's; even Japan and Germany, against which we fought a pitiless war, were not sown with salt after our victory, but rebuilt and befriended. It is especially important that a nationalist campaign stress this point, so as to lead its supporters away from the temptation of chauvinism. The second reason is specific to our neighbor to the south. Mexico is the most important country in the world to us, after Canada. Nothing that happens in Ukraine or Syria or Burma or Swaziland is remotely as important to us as what happens in Mexico. As Trump said at the Mexico City press conference, 'A strong, prosperous, and vibrant Mexico is in the best interest of the United States.' I would go further; the continued development of Mexico into a first-world industrial democracy should be one of the top 2 goals of USA foreign policy, second only to the avoidance of nuclear war. Mexico's independence day is coming up in a couple of weeks. As we would expect them to congratulate us on the Fourth of July, let us salute them on September 16: ¡Viva México!"

"The fact that the USA reached its FY2016 re-settlement target of 10K 'Syrian' 'refugees' came as no surprise. We predicted this [regime] to be right 'on track' as we could not foresee [president Barack Hussein Obummer] presiding over a refugee summit later this month in New York before honoring his part of the bargain first. But there is almost a month left in the current fiscal year, so the number of 'Syrian' 'refugees' 're-settled' by September 30 will be larger. We are anticipating a total of 12K since that many were interviewed by USCIS in Jordan during the special 3-month 'surge operation'. Of those 12K 'Syrian' 'refugees', 10K have already made it to the USA; there is still time for the other 2K to get here by September 30. After all, the regional refugee coordinator at the USA Embassy in Amman, Gina Kassem, had clearly stated back in April that the 10K target was "a floor and not a ceiling, and it is possible to increase the number". 'Increasing the number' is highly encouraged by the 'International Rescue Committee', 1 of the 9 'voluntary agencies' working closely with the Office of Refugee ReSettlement (and funded for the most part by the State Department). IRC applauded the [corrupt Obummer regime] for meeting its goal to resettle 10K 'Syrian' 'refugees' but asked for more. In the words of David Miliband, IRC's president and CEO: 'IRC encourages the White House to consider this 10K mile-stone «a floor and not a ceiling».' The White House agrees, as CNN reported last month, following information it received from a State Department official: The official said the administration can -- and likely will -- accept more than 10K applicants, as the goal is 'a floor, not a ceiling', and admissions are expected to continue at their current pace for the remaining 6 weeks. The 'current pace' mentioned here has led to 2,406 admissions in June, 2,340 in July, and 2,449 in August. This means that the remaining 2K out of the 12K interviewed should easily make it during the month of September (maybe even before the New York summit on the 20th). As to next year's admissions numbers, no details were given according to CNN: The president will begin consultations with Congress next month [September] to determine how many refugees will be admitted in the 2017 Fiscal Year. He has not yet set those allocations, according to the official. Agencies working with refugees have a number in mind. IRC's, David Miliband was precise: 'We call on the Administration to welcome 140K refugees in 2017. The USA should use this commitment to galvanize global commitments at the High Level meeting called by [president Barack Hussein Obummer] at the UN on September 19.' (The UN itself is hosting a refugee summit on the 19th, followed by the gathering hosted by [president Barack Hussein Obummer] the following day.)..."
